The factory receives regular maintenance and housekeeping to reduce contamination risks and manage application environments to achieve a flawless finish.
Powder Coating can be found in many industries such as mining, oil and gas, agricultural, automotive, commercial construction, manufacturing, through to DIY projects.
It can be applied to aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel and wrought iron surfaces.
Because powder coating is not only durable but cost effective, it’s a popular method of coating equipment such as automotive parts, balustrades, farming equipment, high rise architectural aluminium through to home furnishings. When applied correctly the use of powder coat will protect any surface from the elements for many years.
Continued product development using high performance pigments and resins now match or exceed global weathering standard AAMA2604, making for excellent UV stability, weathering and colour retention.
Brands such as Dulux, Jotun, Interpon and Oxytech offer a huge range of decorative colour option, that include most RAL colours. Textured finishes have also become popular and our business offer many of these as standard.

Preparation is key to ensuring correct adhesion, and this includes the manufacturing process. Surface defects, welds, burrs, sharp edges and lamination should be ground and filled before being abrasive blasted.
Abrasive blasting is the preferred method of preparation used at TUFF Coatings. Garnet is forcibly propelled against a surface, leaving the surface smooth, clean and free of contamination and oxidation.
